This season, One Voice Choir will come together to sing around a theme of "Reciprocity" in our relationships with our Earth and with one another. This season will be a little different than seasons past! We have a new, beautiful rehearsal venue designed for choral groups. And, while we will still be going deep with harmonies, rhythms, layering, etc. -- our songs will be simple enough that the melody line can be taught in 3-5 minutes. Our public performance will actually be a Big Sing where the audience joins us in singing these amazing songs. Oh... and we got a drum kit on board this time ðŸ¤

All levels of singing experience are welcome to sing with us!
We will allow new members to join from now until our SECOND rehearsal (Feb 11).

Public Performance -
Thursday April 23; 6:30-8pm (Doors open 6:15pm)
Location: The Universal Spirit Center in Fashion Valley

8 Sessions + Performance: $275 investment includes 8 bi-weekly 2.25-hour practice sessions, group improv exploration, performance facilitation, and community connection.
Zoom Option: Not available this season. Basic session recordings will be posted after

A $100 deposit is required to secure your seat, with the balance payable in cash at the first session.

ONE VOICE FACILITATORS
MADDIE HAMANN - DIRECTOR
Maddie is the director of One Voice Choir this season and has been directing the choir since the spring of 2022. From a young age, she was immersed in choral music, and participated in local, church, state, and national choirs throughout grade school.
After losing touch with music during her time in grad school, Maddie more recently came across the tradition of Circle Singing -- singing nondenominational spiritual music for the pure joy of being together in song. Maddie is thrilled to be able to share her skills and this beautiful tradition and lineage of song, which is the birthright of every one of us.

JACKIE DRAGON - BAND LEADER
This is what he wanted me to write.... "Jack is just a guy from Chicago who occasionally knows his head from his a**, and that's about the only good thing you could say about him. That and he mwakes a mean ravioli"
I DO wonder how he got to be such a good drummer and guitarist.
MATEO DANIEL - BAND MEMBER
Mateo grew up in a musical household, the son of a country swing bassist and a homespun church pianist. As a kid, he and his sister would paint their faces with halloween makeup and give impromptu concerts to the neighbors from the roof of their house. He studied acting and improvisation through high school and undergrad, where he found his love for choral singing and living room jams. When not making music, you can find Mateo at his day job, providing counseling and coaching at talktomateo.com
